Moya Brennan , rest in peace
I was so sad to hear of the passing of Moya Brennan.
What a loss to her family and to her world wide family of Music lovers
I first heard her angel voice in 1977 at “The Boys of Ballisodare” festival, organised by brothers Philip and Kevin Flynn, who had commissioned me to photograph the festival.
Clannad of Gweedore was on stage: Moya, Ciaran, Pol, Noel and Padraig Duggan. Maestro Nicky Ryan at the sound desk.
We were all under the spell of her voice that was was mesmerizing.
Listening to the hundred of musical tributes played to her to day brought back so many memories.
Travel safe, Moya, I hope You and Dolores are enthralling the crowds, wherever you are.
